how would you interpret
how would you interpret
the phrase "they hurt me"?
I felt disconnected from my parents by my parents own interests and hobbies. I felt they were more important to them than me. I was merely another one of their projects.
They couldn't protect me
They couldn't protect me because they had no insight into my vulnerability or their own. They didn't know what was going on with themselves so they didn't know what was going on with me.
In later life it affected my ability to believe that others cared enough to include me in their lives. I was lonely / isolated. I felt neglected.
When there are no role models
to teach one to love unconditionally
the deep soul work of acceptance of all aspects of suffering and debility are not regarded as value.
When suffering becomes weaponized.
There is a hideous inclination
to blame the victim. When one's suffering is projected on others rather then owning it
one finds a scapegoat to project / carry the illusion that one is not suffering the same as the victim
one has appointed.
When one believes one's suffering is
greater / deserves more recognition of entitlements / cancels out sufferings of others one has not learned from one's wound to recognize suffering of others.
When the process of creation of a layer of empathy to communicate w/ a community of sufferers is undermined one experiences isolation.
Frozen numbness disables one's ability to reach out to other humans. When recognition / acceptance of being human in all aspects of one's existence is displaced one tries to control suffering and loneliness.
Magical thinking dominates aspects of one's existence. Addictive Behavior takes the place of creative self-soothing activity / carves out the illusion that one is invulnerable to suffering. Suffering is something somebody else does. It creates the illusion that someone can Outsource ones suffering.
