Open Heart, Mind, and Body
Sunday, December 9, 2018
Prayer is the opening of mind and heart—our whole being—to God,
Through grace we open our awareness to God whom we know by faith is within us, closer than consciousness itself.
Closer than breathing, thinking,
choosing.
—Thomas Keating π
It will often be experienced as a quiet leap
of joy in the heart.π
Contemplation;
an exercise in
in keeping
openness
long enough for you to notice hidden
material. π
This is “full-access knowing”—not irrational, but intuitive, rational, and trans-rational all at once.π
The supreme work of spirituality, π
(which is the result of conscious love), keeping a “right mind” (which is the
work of contemplation/
meditation), & the body
alive w/contentment & w/out attachment to it's s past woundings (which is often the work of healing).
In that state you aren't resisting/clinging &
you can experience things
as genuinely new.π
People who can be present
will know what they need to know: Presence connects all
to everything to everything. π
